How do I measure for my kilt?

We require your height plus two measurements.

DO NOT MEASURE YOURSELF!
Have someone else take your measurements and double check them.
Your kilt will not fit if the measurements are incorrect.

While you are being measured stand or kneel straight. Do not look down. Empty your pockets and take off your belt.

A. Measure your WAIST. Don't be shocked as you wear your kilt higher than your pants therefore the measurement is usually more. For example, 36 waist for pants = 37-38 for a kilt. Make this a snug measurement and write it down.

B. Measure your SEAT (hip), take your wallet or any other articles out of your pockets. Measure around the widest part with your hand in under the tape. This will give you a larger measure than what your actual seat is, but this is what we need. Write down this measurement.

C. Measure your HEIGHT. This is to be your height of your body, not the length of the kilt. We will calculate the correct length for your kilt from your height.
