How do I measure for my kilted skirt?
We require your height plus three measurements.
DO NOT MEASURE YOURSELF!
Have someone else take your measurements and double check them.
Your skirt will not fit if the measurements are incorrect.
While you are being measured stand tall. Do not look down.
A. Measure your WAIST. Be sure to measure the true waist. Kilted skirts are worn higher than many traditional skirts. Make this a snug measurement and write it down.
B. Measure your SEAT (hip), take your wallet or any other articles out of your pockets. Measure around the widest part with your hand in under the tape. This will give you a larger measure than what your actual seat is, but this is what we need. Write down this measurement.
C. Measure the LENGTH. This is to be the length of the skirt.
D. Measure your HEIGHT. This is to be your height of your body, not the length of the skirt.
